The 2025 Kentucky Farm Bureau Scholarship application is now available online. For a complete list of available scholarships (which includes KFB administered state and county scholarships), eligibility, rules, and to access the application, please visit our website: www.kyfb.com/scholarships. As a reminder, the application must be completed in one sitting; our system does not allow for an application to be saved once it is in progress. To assist students, please utilize the scholarship checklist on the website so all required information is gathered before the applicant begins the process.
To be considered, all applications must be submitted by the February 28, 2025 11:59 P.M. (ET) deadline. As a reminder, all requested materials must be submitted with the application. Winners will be notified by April 20, 2025.

KY Sr's have the opportunity to fill out the FAFSA before it opens to all states on Dec 1 . Go to https://kygoestocollege.com/ & complete steps 1-3 by midnight on Nov 6th. Once you receive your confirm # from Federal Student Aid, you will be able to access your FAFSA app on Nov 15th.
Herd Huddle sign ups for next semester must be completed by Friday, 11/1/24. This is for all students in the building. Check your school email for the sign up Google form. After Friday, this choice will be decided for you. If you are unable to access this form, please come to the Guidance office for help.
Attn: GSP Applicants: Representatives from the Governor's Scholars Program will be here in the library on Tuesday, November 12th to meet with those students who will be applying for the summer program. Those that are applying--it is HIGHLY recommended that you meet with these representatives as they can give you insight as to what your application needs to stand out. These will be 30 minute sessions, there are three slots per session, and it is first come-first served. If you sign up for a spot, you will need to have finished a significant amount of the bulk of the application, which is the student profile (Extracurricular Activities, Service, and Honors/Awards) as well as the essay. Come join the Muhlenberg Dance Team for one night only! Your young kids, boys and girls, can come and experience what it is like to dance a routine. This is a free event for ages 3-13. We will practice on September 19 from 3:35 PM to 5:00 PM in the gym, and then we will perform at the high school football game on the 20th during the halftime show, which starts at 7:00 PM. Please fill out the attached form so we know how many to expect and what age groups will be attending.

MCHS Band Mattress Fundraiser is this Saturday, 8/17/24, from 10-5 in the gym. Come support our band program and upgrade your mattress at the same time.
IMPORTANT: MCHS Freshmen/New student open house is 8/20/24 from 9am-noon. Your students online registration must be completed prior to that day using Infinite Campus. Schedules and/or Chromebooks will not be given out without having completed online registration.
ATTN Class of 2024: We still have tons of diplomas to be picked up.
We DO NOT mail them. Also, we have received another delivery of graduation pictures, please stop by get yours from 10-1 this week.

New MCHS student enrollment begins Monday 7/15/24 at the high school. Please bring all information needed (can be found on website). Our hours of enrollment will be from 10am-1pm, in the Guidance Dept., Monday thru Thursday, until the school year begins on 8/27/24. New students are any student that did not finish the 23/24 school year in a Muhlenberg County School. This applies to new to our school and/or returning students from homeschool or other counties.
Announcement: Krista Thompson and Drew Diedrich will be the new E-Sport coaches for Muhlenberg County High School for the 24/25 school year. Congratulations to you both!
