Spring picture day is this Thursday! 8th grade graduation pictures will also be taken. We ask that 8th graders do not wear hoodies. Hoodies interfere with the gown students will wear for graduation pictures.
School will be in-session tomorrow as a make-up day for snow day #1. Spring pictures for all grades & 8th grade graduation pictures will be taken on Thursday, February 19th.

There will be an open practice for softball on Saturday, February 14th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the high school hitting facility. This is for any current 5th -7th grader. Participants must have a current sports physical.
Middle school baseball tryouts will be held on Friday, February 13th from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the high school football field & Saturday, February 14th from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the high school facility. These are the only two days for tryouts. Tryouts are for 6th - 8th grade students only.

This year for Valentine's Day the Beta club is offering a blind bag for $5. Each bag will contain 1 random plush (approximately 4 in in height), a real flower (carnation), and candy. The candy included in the bags this year will be from lists of allergy free candy. (examples include- Skittles, Airheads, Fun Dip, Blow Pops, Jolly Ranchers, Ring Pops, etc.) If you are interested in purchasing a bag -or bags- please fill out this link. Payments need to be dropped off at school to Ms. Wright before February 12, 2026. Sorry for the short notice, snow days have affected our ability to order materials. The plan is to pass out the bags on Friday as long as all deliveries of materials are delivered.

The high school is hosting Ready for 9th Grade for our 8th grade students tonight from 5:30 to 7:30 at Felix Martin Hall.

Muhlenberg County High School, with help from Muhlenberg Achieves, will be offering Ready for 9th Grade night at MCHS. Ready for 9th Grade is open to all 8th graders and their parents/guardians. Students and parents will be given information about graduation requirements, high school expectations, and be given the opportunity to speak to high school teachers and learn more about the career pathways offered at MCHS. Parents/guardians will also have another opportunity to look over their students' registration sheets for the 26-27 school year. This event will be Monday, January 12th starting at 5:30 pm in Felix Martin Hall.
